The USS KIDD Veterans Museum honors the men and women from Louisiana who have served in our nation’s armed forces, and educates the public on their sacrifices and those of their families. Our centerpiece exhibit is the Fletcher-class destroyer USS KIDD (DD-661), painstakingly restored to her WWII configuration, a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War. Through KIDD, take a step back in time and learn a little history, art, and science and see what life was like before the digital age.
