A licking branch, deer use for scent communication

With the bone broken, the tendon pulls the back leg up

Poor fellow got hit by car and has a broken leg😞️😞️

A male ruby throat hummingbird landing on a feeder hook

The dark on his throat is actually red if the light is right

The light has to be just right to see the red throat
